Our Story

Hardenberg&Co is the distributor of Angelcare products in the UK/Ireland since 2007. We had our first experience when we received an Angelcare movement monitor from a friend when our son was born extremely premature at 24 weeks gestation.

We can truly say that this monitor has saved our sanity! Throughout the initial difficult time at home, we at least managed to get some decent sleep. Our little boy is 10 now and doing really well, after a challenging start to life.

Our very personal experience has given us a clear business strategy.

Our aim is to make essential products like the Angelcare Baby Monitors available to the widest audience possible. All products we are considering or distributing will be of the highest quality and will provide a very relevant added value to parents and their babies.

We are also working closely together with charities like Bliss – for babies born too soon, too small, too sick – to raise money and awareness for their good causes and activities. Julie has completed the London Marathon this year and raised more than £16,000 for Bliss!

Our Customer Service is something that we pride ourselves upon. We believe in the ability to supply not just a Sales, Marketing and Logistic service to our brands, but to offer support to the consumer once they have purchased our products.

In the aggressive, consumer demanding marketplace where our brands thrive we know that the consumer’s experience can be a ‘make or break’ point.  With the speed of communication through social media networks it is important to offer outstanding service throughout every step of the supply chain and beyond.

Our own personal experience compels us towards offering a comprehensive customer service package for our brands. We have a fully trained Customer Service team who are accessible through a dedicated Helpline email address and telephone number. We offer technical support for our products and if we diagnose a product fault we will ship out replacement components directly to the end user. Customer satisfaction is vital, and acts as a springboard for consumer brand loyalty.

In addition to this we have a very comprehensive website where consumers can purchase spare parts and also find helpful tips on using their products. This allows us insight into our products and creates a strong platform for continually supporting the consumer and the trade.

Marc Hardenberg
Managing Director

Marc’s career started at Johnson & Johnson in the Netherlands, followed by senior positions at MAM in Austria (VP Sales & Marketing) and Jackel International as International Sales & Marketing Director. Marc has successfully managed consumer brands like Clairol, Clean & Clear, Wisdom, Johnson’s Dental, Johnson’s Baby, MAM, Tommee Tippee, Sangenic, Always Learning (together with Dr. Miriam Stoppard) and the Anywayup Cup.

Julie Ebrey
Managing Director

Julie has more than 20 years UK Sales experience, having previously worked for Cork International, MAM (UK Sales Director) and V&A Marketing (General Sales Manager UK). She has extensive experience dealing with all UK trade channels (nationals, independents, specialists) and is extremely well respected. Julie has worked for brands like Lady Jane, Bebelle, MAM, Anywayup Cup, Always Learning and has introduced various retail own label brands for Asda, Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Toys R Us and Wilkinson to the UK market.
